“There’s a Costa Vida in our hometown that we’ve been going to ever since it opened. It’s one of our favorite places to go,” says Chris Harris, a franchise owner in Las Vegas. “We felt if we were going to go into business with a company, we wanted to do it with something we would be customers of. Going forward with Costa Vida was a natural fit.”

‘As good as it can possibly be’

Costa Vida founder Kenny Prestwich’s dad once told him if he was going to do something, he should do it better than anyone else. That’s been the mission of our Mexican franchise since Day One.

“I’m a connoisseur of food. I love food. I live to eat,” says Prestwich. “I’ve spent more than 30 years in the restaurant business. I’ve built a couple of concepts. With Costa Vida, I realized that there was a need in the marketplace for this kind of food. It’s as good as it can possibly be.”

“We’ve been to a lot of Costa Vidas,” says Nick Harris, Chris’ son and business partner. “Once we got Costa on our radar, we really started watching how they ran, what they did in the back, and we’ve been impressed by that.”
