Founded on freshness: How our mission brings in guests and franchisees
From day one, our mission for our Mexican franchise opportunity has been to make food that’s the best it can possibly be
At Costa Vida, our Mexican franchise opportunity offers a product owners can be proud to serve. We often hear from franchisees that one of the main things that convinced them to open a Costa was the quality of the food, whether they were a guest before they started the process or they were won over trying our food during their research.
“There’s a Costa Vida in our hometown that we’ve been going to ever since it opened. It’s one of our favorite places to go,” says Chris Harris, a franchise owner in Las Vegas. “We felt if we were going to go into business with a company, we wanted to do it with something we would be customers of. Going forward with Costa Vida was a natural fit.”
‘As good as it can possibly be’
Costa Vida founder Kenny Prestwich’s dad once told him if he was going to do something, he should do it better than anyone else. That’s been the mission of our Mexican franchise since Day One.
“I’m a connoisseur of food. I love food. I live to eat,” says Prestwich. “I’ve spent more than 30 years in the restaurant business. I’ve built a couple of concepts. With Costa Vida, I realized that there was a need in the marketplace for this kind of food. It’s as good as it can possibly be.”
Consistency is key for a Mexican franchise opportunity
That may sound like we do things the hard way, but that doesn’t mean it’s hard on our franchisees. Our experienced team has streamlined our operations so that staff can be trained easily and kitchens can run smoothly and efficiently, even during a hectic dinner rush.
Those systems extend to our entire network, keeping quality consistent in our franchises across the country. Thanks to our operational support and the stringent quality requirements we have for our nationwide supply chain, we can help make sure that a franchisee in Apple Valley, MN, serves the same delicious, fresh food as a location in Lehi, UT. By living up to our founding mission no matter where we grow, our brand and our franchisees thrive.
“We’ve been to a lot of Costa Vidas,” says Nick Harris, Chris’ son and business partner. “Once we got Costa on our radar, we really started watching how they ran, what they did in the back, and we’ve been impressed by that.”
