Costa Vida ranks in Top 50 franchises

Our made-from-scratch food makes guests happy, and that makes franchisees happy

Industry experts Franchise Gator placed Costa Vida in the top 50 of their annual Top 100 Franchise Opportunities rankings, making us the highest-ranked Mexican restaurant on their list. We’re proud of the ranking and of what it says about us as we strive to be the best Mexican food franchise, both to eat at and to own.

The list doesn’t just take into account the hottest or newest franchise concepts; they design the rankings to account for the stability of the brand and its long-term potential for franchise owners. Here’s how Franchise Gator explains their criteria:

“Rankings are mostly based on a formula created from various pieces of the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that focus on financial stability, growth, transparency, engagement, continuity and sustainability. Hundreds of FDD’s were studied this past year in an effort to bring you this ranking.”

Fresh and delicious is a winning combination that keeps guests coming through the doors of our franchise locations nationwide.

Great food, happy guests, satisfied franchisees

For any business, success comes from knowing what your customers want. We make people happy, and that all starts with the food. All of our menu items are made from scratch, and that makes a big difference for our guests. Our Mexican restaurant franchise stands out from the competition with bold flavor profiles and plenty of customization options. Whether a guest is looking for something healthy and light, like a shrimp taco salad, or something deliciously indulgent, like nachos loaded with queso, they can find it at your Costa location.

“Probably the number one thing I enjoy about owning a Costa Vida is that the food is so good,” says Logan, UT, franchisee Jim Christensen. “It makes people happy. When my dining room is full, it’s just a roar of people having fun.”

How we support our Mexican restaurant franchise network

We’re on track to hit 100 Costa Vida locations nationwide this year. Our fresh food and systematic operations are the perfect foundation for a strong business model anywhere in the country.

We’ve expanded outside of our core western markets to take on new territories. We’ve expanded revenue opportunities for franchisees by adding drive-thrus to our restaurants and opening our first airport location. And we’re using pioneering new technology to enhance our site selection process, improve employee performance and boost guest satisfaction.

Technology enhances our support, but it doesn’t replace the personal touch. We’re big enough to give franchise candidates confidence that our brand can help them meet their goals. But we’re also still small enough to treat franchisees like family. With plenty of territories still available for growth, that makes now the perfect time to consider opening your own Costa Vida franchise.
