Costa is flying high with our new airport location
New Salt Lake City airport location highlights how Costa finds new ways to reach more guests
With a new location in the Salt Lake City airport, Costa Vida continues to find new avenues for our brand and franchise owners to earn more business. Our fast-casual burrito franchise is always looking for ways to help our franchisees run successful operations, and this new location is just one more example of how we think outside the box.
“We are very excited about this location and we look forward to serving the travelers and employees of the SLC International Airport,” says multi-unit franchisee Gary Moore.
We’re doing something a little different from most brands with our new airport location: It’s only the fourth foodservice facility in the country on airport ground in front of the security wall. In fact, it’s right nearby the airport’s park-and-wait lot, making it the perfect choice for both travelers inside the airport and for those waiting for friends and family to arrive.
Increasing brand awareness as we grow nationwide
One of the most exciting features of the new location is the way it expands our brand’s reach. We have raving fans in our core markets, so this gives us a chance to reach new audiences who have never had the chance to try our delicious food. And that bolsters our efforts to grow our fast-casual franchises nationwide, as we approach 100 locations and open in new markets like Las Vegas and Ft. Worth, TX.
“Costa Vida is excited to have the opportunity to serve both international and domestic travelers the authentic, fresh Mexican flavors that we have become known for,” says Dave Rutter, president and CEO. “Our new airport location will harness the same convenient customer options, such as app ordering for those in a rush, and catering coming soon, that our stand-alone locations throughout the country have prided themselves on.”
Innovation grows our burrito franchise
Innovation is a core value for our brand. We keep the business as fresh as our food because it benefits franchisees. We’re constantly developing new ideas, but we make sure to study and test them rigorously so that when we roll out a new initiative for our franchisees, they can trust that it will help them build their business.
That innovation includes where we build our locations, like the new airport location that can reach an entirely new audience for our brand. It includes how we use our space, such as the drive-thru locations that can boost revenue by serving more guests at the same time. And it includes things like our smartphone app, which keeps our loyal fans engaged and incentivizes more frequent business.
